Who are we?
We are Helioz’s software development team of (currently) six enthusiastic developers, and we are looking for another one! We developed two of our own applications – zipCPQ and Pallet Insights.
ZipCPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) is an advanced tool that improves the sales process and allows users to configure products and manage prices and quotes.
Pallet Insights is a tool that offers the complete logistics related to the distribution of wooden pallets and thus digitizes the processes within the company.
We are also working on custom software development and some smaller tools for internal use (our latest cool addition is an app for Conference room reservations).
When we are not programming, debugging, testing, and brainstorming - we like to enjoy some beer (local craft ones are our favorite) and play Bela, Alias, and other games on teambuilding (which you can see on the pictures on our social media and Careers page.)
Here's what
you'll do:
- • Writing clean/maintainable code and testing it
- • Using agile methodologies in development
- • Developing, maintaining, and improving software solutions
- • Maintaining high-quality standards for projects
- • Advising the company on the new technologies
- • Helping other team members in their tasks when necessary
- • Proactively suggesting the implementation of new processes into the company and improving the existing ones
- • Cooperating with other teams to deliver the best customers journey
- • Working in a team
- • Optimizing applications
- • Using programming languages like Node.js, PHP, Javascript (but feel free to suggest others
- • Giving time estimates and describing tasks and requirements

Job Requirements:
- • At least three (3) years of work experience as a software developer
- • Excellent knowledge of the English language (clients from all around the world!)
- • Good knowledge of software architectures and best practices
- • Experience and advanced knowledge in PHP, Javascript
- • Working with database(s) – writing and maintaining queries
- • Great knowledge of the code review process
- • Advanced knowledge of using versioning systems, such as GitLab
- • Great communication skills
- • Working well in teams (you must be a team player)
- • Understanding of business requirements and completing tasks on time
- • Understanding of design patterns
- • Ability to take initiative
- • Skills to be a mentor for junior team members
- • You enjoy making your code better every day
